Area of impact
Agriculture
We believe agriculture is more than food production, it is a powerful tool for transforming lives and communities. Through sustainable farming, training, and agricultural entrepreneurship, we empower individuals and families to achieve food security, create lasting income, and become a source of hope and opportunity for others. Our goal is not only to feed people today, but to equip them to feed themselves and strengthen their communities for generations to come.
« We teach people how to fish rather than simply giving them fish. »
Leadership & mindset
We believe that transformed people transform communities. Through leadership training, entrepreneurship, mindset education, and practical life skills, we empower individuals to discover their potential, embrace responsibility, and become leaders who create sustainable impact. Our goal is to inspire a new generation of servant leaders committed to strengthening their communities and shaping a better future.
Evangelism
We believe that sharing hope goes beyond words. Through community outreach, leadership development, and practical faith resources, we equip individuals to serve others, strengthen families, and positively impact their communities. In partnership with ServeNow, we provide educational materials and practical tools that inspire personal growth, meaningful conversations, and lives transformed through faith.
Humanitarian Relief
We respond to the needs of vulnerable communities with compassion and practical action. While addressing urgent needs through relief and humanitarian support, our mission goes beyond emergency assistance. We work to empower individuals and communities with sustainable solutions that restore dignity, build resilience, and create lasting hope.
Who we are ?
Sharp Sword African Mission (SSAM) is a community-centered, faith-inspired nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives and strengthening communities across Africa. We believe that lasting change is achieved by empowering people with the knowledge, skills, values, and opportunities they need to become self-reliant and create positive impact around them.
Through leadership development, sustainable agriculture, humanitarian relief, education, and community partnerships, we work alongside local leaders, organizations, and communities to address today’s challenges while building a better future for generations to come.
Our mission is rooted in compassion, service, integrity, and collaboration. We believe that when people work together with a shared vision, communities thrive and lasting transformation becomes possible.

Our projects
Agricultural Projects
We are developing strategic agricultural plantations to support the mission and local communities.
- In Cameroon: 4 acres of chili peppers and 3,500 plantain trees in the Littoral region, Sikoum.
- In Nigeria: 2,000 oil palm trees and complementary crops (sweet potatoes, maize) in Oyo State.
These projects aim to create sustainable resources, promote church self-sufficiency, and generate positive economic impact within the communities.
Training Project
We provide training in leadership, entrepreneurship, and psychosocial skills to develop Christians capable of transforming their environment. The goal is to nurture spiritual and economic entrepreneurs who contribute significantly to societal development while remaining firmly rooted in faith.
